Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut has made a recent move today post her office demolition drive carried out by BMC. Friday morning, the actress wrote a series of Tweets requesting Congress President Sonia Gandhi to intervene in the matter.
Kangana exclaimed to the Congress leader that she’d be “aware” of the “struggles of women” as she’s a woman herself. “Dear respected honourable @INCIndia president Sonia Gandhi Ji being a woman aren’t you anguished by the treatment I am given by your government in Maharashtra? Can you not request your government to uphold the principles of the Constitution given to us by Dr Ambedkar?”
Kangana further wrote, “You have grown up in the west and lived here in India. You may be aware of the struggles of women. History will judge your silence and indifference when your own Government is harassing women and ensuring a total mockery of law and order. I hope you will intervene.”
The actress has consistently been claiming that the work carried out at her office was completely legal, however, BMC claimed of 14 violations of illegal alterations in their notice. People have started to believe that Kangana is playing a political game by favouring one party over the other. However, union minister de ied to it and said, “Ranaut is not interested in politics but in ensuring unity in society.”
On Thursday post his meeting with Kangana, Athawale said, “Kangana Ranaut said she is not interested in politics but is interested in ensuring unity in society. She said that in her upcoming film she is playing the role of a Dalit and that caste system should be abolished.”
The entire fiasco is a result of the verbal spat between Kangana and NCP leader. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has since then become the hot target of Kangana’s tweet series.
