- Anushka Sharma reveals they wrap on ‘Chakda Xpress’; Jhulan Goswami joins sets for the last clap.
“It’s a wrap,” announced superstar Anushka Sharma as she posted pictures from the final day of filming her sports movie ‘Chakda Xpress’.
Joining the ladies in blue was retired cricketer Jhulan Goswami who did the praises of ‘the last clap’ to get an end to the filming. Pictures from the sets spotted Anushka and Jhulan joining filmmaker Prosit Roy to cut a three-tier cake.
Among the many images were some of the actress hugging her filmmaker; another shows her lying probably in an ambulance as Jhulan sat by her side with a clapper board.
The team revealed the wrap nearly six months after beginning work in June 2022.
To step into the shoes of the ex-Indian cricket skipper Anushka, she underwent extensive exercise and even took advice from her cricketer husband, Virat Kohli, to master the role.
