  • The hilarious trailer for Ranveer Singh’s upcoming movie Cirkus, which is being co-produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series, delighted fans of the actor.

Fans of Ranveer Singh were treated to a hilarious trailer for his upcoming film Cirkus, directed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment, and T-Series.

Deepika Padukone also made a cameo appearance in the trailer. Jacqueline Fernandez, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Pooja Hegde, Sanjay Mishra, Siddharth Jadhav, and Varun Sharma also appear in the film.

Cirkus is set in the 1960s and also will be released in theatres this Christmas. In the film, both Ranveer and Varun play dual roles.

Ranveer Singh was dubbed everything from ‘electric guy’ to ‘kudrat ka karisma (a miracle)’ in the trailer, which was released on Friday, after discovering that his body emits literal ‘currents.’

As Ranveer, as well as Varun travel to various locations, from opulent mansions to circuses and sets, they meet people who tell them they look familiar.

Deepika’s fans amazes with her dance number in the Cirkus trailer.

While Ranveer already has two love interests, Pooja and Jacqueline, he is joined in the trailer by actor-wife Deepika Padukone for a song. Deepika is witnessed matching Ranveer every step of the way as they give an electrifying dance performance on stage, dressed in a bright pink ethnic look.

Angoor, a 1982 movie that was a remake of Do Dooni Chaar from 1968, served as the inspiration for the movie Cirkus. The movie’s synopsis states that it is about a “circus operator as well as his gymnast pals belonging to a big circus group, (who) juggle with their lives and try to bring the extinct circus culture back to the public.” After Simmba (2018) and the Akshay Kumar-starring Sooryavanshi, in which Ranveer appeared in a cameo, Cirkus is the pair’s third joint project.

Ranveer’s most recent film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, had poor box office results. In addition to Cirkus, he has other upcoming projects, like Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar.

Along with veteran actors Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra, the movie will bring together Ranveer and his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt.
