Oscars 2023: The Last Film and RRR make India proud

The Pan Nalin-directed Gujarati movie Chhello Show is up against international competition from movies like Corsage (Austria), Close (Belgium), Return to Seoul (Cambodia), Holy Spider (Denmark), Saint-Omer (France), and many others. It competes with songs like Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength) from Avatar: The Way of Water, Lift Me from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once, and more. The RRR song Naatu Naatu featured Ram Charan and Jr. NTR dancing wildly.

RRR submitted nominations for more than 14 different categories. The Academy Awards has not revealed the shortlisted list for many more categories. However, Indians are enthusiastically celebrating this on Twitter. It has already been dubbed historic by many.

So now everyone is crossing their fingers. We hope India receives The Academy Award this time.
