In the past, Akshay has made social movies like PadMan and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. Both films ended up getting a favourable reaction from the audience. Now, he is ready to explore a new subject and make a movie on sex education. While talking about it, he called it an ‘essential subject’.
According to News18, Akshay told the press at the Film Festival, “I’m making a film on sex education. It’s a vital subject. In a lot of areas, it is not there. We have all sorts of issues we have in school, whereas sex is one teaching I’d like all the academies in the world to have because it is necessary.”
Akshay didn’t disclose the title of the movie. He said that he likes doing these types of films.
The Ram Setu actor then said, “It’s going to take time. April or May, I will be dropping that film. It’s one of the finest movies I have made. I like doing these sorts of films and social stuff. These films are not that big a commercial hit but definitely satisfy me.”
