The virtual conference was held by Varun Dhawan who is not a part of any of the films.
Disney Hotstar released a teaser of the announcement on their offical Disney+Hotstar VIP Instagram account by sharing posters of all the 7 Bollywood films. Varun asked Akshay Kumar about how would the audience conceive the online release and whether it would match up to the experience of first day first show concept. To this the Laxmi Bomb actor replied,
“For now they should accept it and the best part is that the show time will be their own, food can be of their choice. Ab kya bachche ki jaan loge.”
