- Billie Eilish became the youngest individual to headline Glastonbury carnival this summer.
Billie Eilish, Sam Fender and Lewis Capaldi have been revealed as stars of next year’s Reading and Leeds celebrations.
Imagine Dragons, Foals, and The Killers will be in the primary stages, too.
Greg James announced the line-up on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show before.
The three-day carnival will take place from 25 to 27 August, to Richfield Avenue, Reading, and Leeds’ Bramham Park.
Becky Hill, who’s also emerging on the bill, describes Newsbeat she “can’t wait to feel the vibrancy” of the fans.
“The exuberance is unmatched by any other celebration,” she states. “It’s one of my favourite masses to play to.”
Wet Leg, MUNA, Eliza Rose, Loyle Carner, slowthai, Bicep, Central Cee and Baby Queen will also be performing.
They’ll be bound on the tab by Don Broco, Tion Wayne, Nessa Barrett, Declan McKenna and You Me At Six.
Afterglow musician Becky has served at the festival for several years and says she “loves that I’ve worked my way up the bill”.
“The festival now has seen its beat,” says Becky.
“I’m very enthusiastic about having so many people enjoying themselves from all other backgrounds.”
Her performance stars drag artists, and Becky says inclusion is “so necessary” to her set.
“There shouldn’t be any exclusion in pop music, and in any tune anywhere, but especially when people party, it should be for everyone and anyone.”
