Thunivu featuring Ajith Kumar is gearing up for a release in January 2023. The film, which is led by the talented filmmaker H Vinoth, is now in the last stages of its post-production.
The much-anticipated first song, ‘Chilla Chilla’ from the Ajith-starrer, is slated to drop on December 9, Friday.
Meanwhile, in a recent chat given to Dinamalar, director H Vinoth spilt beans about completing Thunivu music and leading man Ajith’s opinion towards the same.
Ajith Kumar wanted to alter the lyrics
Interestingly, the filmmaker admitted that Ajith Kumar is an artist who doesn’t believe in self-glorification. According to H Vinoth, the stylish celeb is very precise about not adding words in his movie titles and song lyrics that praise him.
“I had a challenging time convincing him regarding some lyrics in the Thunivu tracks, as he wanted to alter some lyrics that herald him,” said Vinoth.
However, the filmmaker convinced Ajith Kumar by ensuring him that those lyrics were required for his personality build-up.
Thunivu is not based on a bank theft
Earlier, it was apprised that Thunivu will be based on a bank theft. But, the filmmaker refused the information and assured us that the movie is not based on a bank theft that happened in Punjab. The director said that Thunivu’s plot is set in a crooked world with no enemies.
Manju Warrier is the female lead in the highly awaited work. However, Manju is not portraying Ajith Kumar’s romantic interest in the movie but appears as his close partner.
Thunivu stars Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, Cibi Chandran, and others as supporting characters. The film is made by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Project LLP and Zee Studios.
