Ajay Devgn to direct his fourth film Bholaa, Hindi remake of Tamil movie Kaithi

Actor-director Ajay Devgn is now working on Bholaa, a fast-paced, intensely emotional drama with himself and Tabu playing the lead characters. This is Devgn’s fourth film. The actor has directed Runway 34, Me Aur Hum, Shivaay, and U in the past.

He is expected to wrap up principal photography on his fourth film, Bholaa, by August 20. He is now wielding the megaphone once more. When asked how he completed shooting the movie so soon after the release of Runway 34 in April, Devgn smiles enigmatically and replies, “Well, the preparation was done earlier on. It was as simple as returning to the camera position and uttering the three magic words: “Lights, camera, action!”

Kaithi, a hugely successful Tamil film, was remade as Bholaa. It was made available in 2019 and Bholaa is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed action thriller was released in 2019. In the original movie, Karthi plays a prisoner who defends the police from a band of smugglers when they are attacked. In turn, the cops assist him in getting his daughter back. Along with Narain and Dheena, Karthi played the lead role in the movie. It is co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the label Vivekananda Pictures and is produced by S. R. Prakashbabu, S. R. Prabhu, and S. R. Prakashbabu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Ajay Devgn was previously seen in Runway 34, which was released in April 2022. He will soon be seen in Indra Kumar’s Thank God, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.
