Stree Box Office Collection: Rajkummar Rao And Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Has No Signs Of Slowing Down
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’ is the debut horror comedy by director Amar Kaushik and it has proved that good content rules at the box office. It opened with a good collection on its first day (31st August). On day 1 Stree collected Rs 6.82 crore in the domestic market leaving everyone surprised.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: “When numbers do the talking… #Stree surpasses the expectations and estimations and posts a SUPERB number on Day 1… Biz is expected to multiply over the weekend… Fri Rs 6.82 cr. India biz… Hugely positive word of mouth has translated into BO numbers.”

It has no signs of slowing down at the box office and still going strong. Sharing the six-day collections, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Stree is SUPER-STRONG on Day 6… Wed biz is HIGHER than Tue and almost at par with Fri… Truly UNSTOPPABLE… Fri 6.83 cr, Sat 10.87 cr, Sun 14.57 cr, Mon 9.70 cr, Tue 6.37 cr, Wed 6.55 cr. Total: ₹ 54.89 cr. India biz.”

Talking about the success of Stree, producer Dinesh Vijan said, “We expected to open well as the entire campaign got a fantastic response and we were confident that the audiences would love the film. But this kind of love and appreciation is overwhelming! This year has been super for the industry and I am elated that Stree could be part of it.”
Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee are the other stars in the movie. ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ featuring the Deols is totally wrecked by the whopping collection of ‘Stree’.
